Art is…Petaluma- according to the Sheraton of Sonoma County, who is hosting an art week from Sept. 22-Sept. 27.  The event takes place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. throughout the week at 745 Baywood Drive. This retreat also takes place at other locations throughout the world including New York, Connecticut, and Sydney, Australia. Open to the public and all levels of artists, over seventy workshops will be taught from artists all around the country. very Saturday and Sunday from now until Dec. 18, Tara Firma Farm is hosting a tour open to the public at 3796 I Street Extension. Every hour on the hour from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., the farm gives consumers the opportunity to learn more about where their food comes from. Topics being covered will include free range and pastured chickens, raising pigs and buying quality bacon, the upside of grass fed beef, and whats products are in season at what time.
