Nine years ago, Wayne and Amy Dufond began Field to Family Natural Foods, offering natural and organic poultry, with an emphasis on treating animals humanely, the environment carefully and customers and employees respectfully.
The Dufonds will be honored as recipients of this year’s Sonoma County Spirit Awards, given to those who contribute to the economic development and enhancement of their communities.
The couple, along with other honorees from around the county, will be saluted at a luncheon sponsored by the Sonoma County Economic Development Board from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Rohnert Park.
