Weddings are great opportunities to see old friends. When I arrived at Petaluma’s Willowbrook Ale House for Kristina’s engagement party, I hadn’t seen her in years. I finally met her fiancé Jeff, the bassist with Thursday night house band, Blue & Lonesome. With a brew in one hand, pen in the other, I sketched while the band kept my feet tapping to the bluegrass beat.
