Join the big finale of Petaluma’s El Día de los Muertos celebration at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, as organizers lead a traditional candlelight procession from the Water Street Bistro, 100 Petaluma Blvd. N., to the Petaluma Arts Center, 230 Lakeville St. with giant puppets, food music and folkloric dance.

On Sunday, join them for a worship service at Unitarian Universalists of Petaluma, 518 B St. Bring a photo or memento of a loved one who has passed away.

And on Tuesday, join in a smaller, more intimate procession of just 200 people from the Petaluma Arts Center, 230 Lakeville St., to the cemetery for a traditional ceremony to honor deceased loved ones. Sign up ahead of time at the Arts Center.

About 75 altars or ofrendas on display in store windows throughout town will remain there through Nov. 6. A map of their locations is available at the Arts Center, the Petaluma Library and the Historic Museum.
