“Rock for River” Music Event

The “Rock for River” Music event will be taking place on Sunday, Sep. 18 at the Lagunita’s Brewing Company at 1280 N. McDowell Blvd. From 1-5pm, live music, a raffle, and beer tasting will be taking place with 100% of the proceeds going straight benefit River Montessori Charter School’s music and art programs. Local artist Lydia Pense from Cold Blood will be playing as well as The Pulsators, Levi Lloyd and the 501 band, Hillside Fire, and David T. Carter from The Trailer Park Rangers. The school opened in Sept. 2009, aiming to bring the quality elementary education of Montessori open to the public. 21 years and older, $10 suggested donation.
